ROG took Esports to new heights again, like literally up in the sky
Would you play video games while suspended from a hundred feet up in the air?
ASUS Republic of Gamers just took Esports to new, and literal heights last week during their 6th ROG Extreme Gaming series featuring a showmatch between pro Counter Strike: Global Offensive teams at one of perhaps the most unimaginable locations, 196 feet or 60 meters up in the air suspended via crane.
The match was between teams PENTA Sports and eXtatus in which eXtatus won by a sweep, with CZK 50,000 on the line.PENTA Sports even gives us a better glimpse of just how high they and team eXtatus had through this video posted on their Twitter page.

Although it does look extreme, this is not the first time that ROG Extreme Gaming took Esports to unimaginable locations, given that it is already the 6th iteration, and aside from delivering on entertaining matches, taking gaming to extreme levels is also the goal of the show match series as the previous ones did take place on rooftops and mountain summits, such as ROG Extreme Gaming 4 which was held on the observatory of Lomnický štít, one of Slovakia’s tallest mountains.
