Big plans for the future

Apart from staging the comeback of GEXT, NVIDIA Philippines has also unveiled that they are cooking up bigger things for the tournament starting later this year, with plans of a 2nd 2017 season which will be held in September being mentioned during the tournament’s Kick-off event at High Grounds Cafe in Quezon City, aside from a second season, the GEXT might also welcome a second game title, which we all assume to be Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

However, hopeful as we are, there is nothing solid yet, although we are definitely looking forward to NVIDIA making more announcements about these new developments in the near future.

The NVIDIA GeForce eSports Xtreme Tournament was first conceived back in 2016 as the computer hardware manufacturer’s own Esports tournament catered towards the development of uprising teams in the amateur Dota 2 scene.
