Zamboanga Esports League opens up with major Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournament happening this June
And it’s going to be massive.
The Philippines’ Counter Strike: Global Offensive scene is evidently alive in the most surprising of regions as the Mindanaoans of Zamboanga Sibugay are about to be treated to a some major Esports spectacle that is the Zamboanga Esports League Counter Strike Global Offensive open.
To be conducted at the KCC Mall de Zamboanga, the ZeSL will act as the region’s first major CS:GO open and is rumored to feature a 6-digit prize pool according to a report by Play on WASD. Assumed to be an open tournament, although could be exclusive to Mindanaoans until further information says otherwise, the ZeSL CS:GO tournament will take place this coming June 5 and 6, 2017, and will be part of the rumored list of major CS:GO events happening in the ViSMin region later this year.
Registration for the ZeSL is currently conducing on-site via KCC Mall of Zamboanga’s The Vapebar, with more details to be made available on the ZeSL Social Media Group.
