New info suggests that former members of Wings Gaming can be sued for leaving the organization
The Random drama continues, and it’s about to go legal.
Things might just get ugly in the Chinese pro Dota 2 scene as a new insider info suggests that the former members of Wings Gaming organization’s Dota 2 squad, who now plays under the banner of Team Random might get sued due to contract related offenses, more specifically breaching their agreement by leaving the organization without prior contract termination agreed upon by both the players and the Wings management that is according to the insider info which was posted on the Chinese Dota 2 website Dota2.uuu9.com,
Around late last month, Team Random‘s players have given their statement as to why they left their previous organization Wings with one of them being the strained relationship between the players and the Wings management, and the other being the delay in player salaries. However, on the supposed insider info, the Wings Gaming management states that one of the prime reasons regarding the delayed payouts was due to the issues bought up during the company’s acquisition period, although it is worth noting that the salaries are in fact already being handed out, particularly those that came from the team’s winnings at TI6.
While there is the looming fear that this might blow up into an ugly legal dispute, the members of Team Random is still said to be able to fight this one out with their defense being the long overdue salary payout which also clearly breaches the terms of their contract with the Wings Gaming management.
