Jeyo returns to SEA, joins JessieVash in HappyFeet
And the Dota 2 story of Jeyo continues.
After a brief stint with team WanteD for the Dota 2 Asian Championship qualifiers earlier this year, Jio “Jeyo” Madayag returns to the Philippines, this time to play under the banner of team HappyFeet together with other Filipino DotA and Dota 2 veterans, Julius “Julz” De Leon, Jayjay “yaj” Garan, Benhur “Benhur” Lawis and Jessie Cristy “JessieVash” Cuyco.
Jeyo, who is also a Veteran of the pro DotA and Dota 2 scene made his debut back in 2011 with team FIRE before landing a spot with teams compLexity Gaming and Evil Geniuses in 2012, albeit he was playing with North American teams for most of his pro Dota 2 run, his biggest break was presumed to be with team Rave who, together with other famous Filipino pro Dota 2 players Djardel J“DJ” Mampusti and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr., was able to finish in the 5th-6th place at the Dota 2 Asian Championships after putting up a good fight against Chinese super squad Big God which was then composed of some of the biggest pros in the Chinese Dota 2 scene such as Xu “BurNIng” Zhilei and Zhang “xiao8” Ning.
Team HappyFeet, which will now be led by JessieVash is described as one of the most successful Filipino Esports teams especially back during the pro DotA era before they were absorbed by the Mineski Organization.
