Despite being kicked out of Alliance, EGM still wants to play for TI
Help EGM get a team for TI!
Sad news hit the fans of Alliance later last week as they announce that their longtime support player Jerry “EGM” Lundkvist has been removed from the team due to reasons concerning the team play performance of Alliance‘s current roster. In a statement posted at TheAlliance.gg, team captain Jonathan “Loda” Berg states that while they get along very well as a group, the team’s in-game synergy is incomplete, citing that the team’s failure to qualify for the Kiev Major was “a blow we [Alliance] did not really bounce back from”.
However, despite being teamless, EGM seems to be still looking forward to being at TI this year as he hopes to form or team-up with other pro players before the Roster Lock hits its deadline which is, well, tomorrow, May 24, 2017.

Following his Tweet, fans have suggested that he team up with another former Alliance player Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg and former compLexity Gaming position 2 player Mihai “canceL^^” Antonio, and even Peter “PPD” Dager pitched in to team up with EGM tagging Michael “ixmike88” Ghannam, Kanishka ‘Sam’ “BuLba” Sosale, and Brian “BananaSlamJamma” Canavan, although PPD‘s tweet is seen more as a joke reply, but hey, there’s nothing wrong in saying that it can be true right?
EGM otherwise known as EnterGodMode started his pro Dota 2 career back in 2011 playing for multiple teams before landing a spot with Alliance in 2013 when they won the TI3 championship title. Ever since the aftermath of 2014, EGM has had an on and off stint with Alliance as he played for teams Team Tinker, Turtle Masters and 4 Clovers before rejoining Alliance again, and leaving and re-joining before being ultimately removed from the team just recently.
