Local pricing for Acer’s Predator 21X revealed to be at PHP 549,999
Why buy your own car when you can buy a Predator 21X instead?
Late last year Acer unveiled what many described as the “most ludicrous laptop”, for this generation at least, when it comes to pricing and concept, the Acer Predator 21X, which sports a Curved Monitor and is said to bear the price tag of USD 9,000.
Today, in an event held in TNC’s High Grounds Cafe, Acer finally brings the Predator 21X to the Philippines, and also gives the localized pricing, which obviously is not a direct conversion of the original price due to factors such as taxation, shipping, and trade tariffs, which sits at PHP 549,999, or a little more than half a million in Philippine peso.
But exactly do you get for a laptop that’s priced more than half a million pesos? Well, there’s the 21″ curved LCD panel which sports a digital resolution of 2570×1080, the first one ever, Intel’s 7th Generation Core i7 7820HK CPU, 64GB of RAM, a full mechanical keyboard, 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080s for your graphics, and of course, the portability of a laptop that weighs around 19lbs or more or less, 8 kg.
The Acer Predator 21X is expected to be available at designated Acer retailers soon here in the Philippines.
