Rumor? UK online retailer lists Red Dead Redemption 2 for a September 2017 release
Oh hey, some Red Dead Redemption 2 news.
Late last year Rockstar Games offered us a pleasant surprise as they announce the planned sequel to one of their iconic open world titles, Red Dead Redemption, titled Red Dead Redemption 2, opening the game’s website, showing a trailer with the gorgeous new world of RDD, a release target and then, well, that’s about it.
Apart from the initial info and a few discussions here and there, Rockstar has been awfully quiet about their upcoming title, divulging not much info regarding its progress or even trying to hype it up by that much even if it’s the sequel to one of the best console open world titles ever.
Now, a few months before E3 2017, which we assume that we may get to see and know more about Red Dead Redemption 2, an online goods retailer based in the UK, named Base.com, puts up Red Dead Redemption 2’s Xbox One version up for pre-order with a release date that says September 26, 2017.
Now according to some “retailer reviews” websites, Base.com has had a more than decent score when it comes to delivery and ease of service however one exasperated customer blurted out that the retailer sometimes lists stuff that they don’t actually have which results in heavy delays from goods that are supposedly pre-ordered months before they are supposed to arrive.
On whether this listing is totally legit or just one of those “products listed but are not actually available on the date that it is supposed to be available”, we can’t really say, although one thing’s for sure, we are definitely going to have Red Dead Redemption 2 this coming Fall of 2017….if Rockstar lives up to its promise that is.
