The Pinoy Gaming Festival Summer Assembly returns this April 2017
Heads up Pinoy gamers, your summer vacation destination has just been set.
Gariath Concepts, the name behind the Philippines biggest video game gathering, the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit, has officially confirmed the dates of this year’s Pinoy Gaming Festival Summer Assembly.
Now on its 5th year, the Pinoy Gaming Festival Summer Assembly was introduced back in 2012, together with the headline even, the Pinoy Gamin Festival which was introduced in 2011, and briefly bade farewell in 2014, when it was replaced by SMM Cyberslam, only to return in 2015. As it is focused largely on Electronic Sports, the Pinoy Gaming Festival features numerous competitions from various competitive titles, which include titans like Dota 2 and League of Legends, together with games from genres like First Person Shooters, MMOs and even Mobile Game titles.
Only the dates have been confirmed so far for PGF SA 2017 and those will be this coming April 28-30, 2017, continuing its 3-day format. While the event’s venue is still yet to be announced, it is still assumed that it will take place in the Event area of SM North EDSA’s Cyberzone section with the admission to be free to all attendees.
