Epic Games’ new title, Battle Breakers, enter mobile soft-launch phase
Epic Games’ new cross-platform action strategy game is playable via soft launch on both Android and iOS.
The Salt Lake City-based game developer Epic Games has just launched their new cross-platform action strategy title, Battle Breakers, through a soft-launch of its mobile iterations with the iOS version to initially target the Philippine market.
Unveiled at Google’s Game Developers Conference, Battle Breakers describes itself as a “frenetic tactical role-playing collector”, which employs the rock-paper-scissors approach and turn-based mechanic present in other RPG titles together with a crystal pop battle system wherein you tap to break crystals that are located on the upper half of your battle screen to reveal either loot or enemy units.
As it is a cross-platform title, players will be able to play it one the Android, iOs and even on the PC with the mobile versions now available for download through Google Play and the iTunes App Store with the full launch for all platforms to happen presumably during the second quarter of this year.
