Acer drops more info regarding Predator 21 X laptop, will be priced at USD 8,999
With great performance comes great price.
Late last year Acer’s Predator gaming brand officially caught up with the new 10-series powered gaming notebook race with their announcement of the 21 X, a dual-GeForce GTX 1080 powered monster that comes equipped with a curved monitor making it the first of its kind in the realm of laptops as far as its display as concerned.
Now, Acer drops more info regarding the 21 X’s specifications listing a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 7820HK processor, 64GB of DDR-2400 memory, up to 3 Terabytes of Storage in both SSD and HDD, Cherry MX Mechanical switches for the keyboard and the 21-inch curved IPS display rocking a refresh rate of 120hz at 2560×1080 screen resolution, but perhaps the biggest info drop of them all is the laptop’s pricing which is set at USD 8,999 or PHP 447, 705 in today’s conversion rates.
Ridiculous? Yes, to put things into context, it’s close competitor, MSI’s GT83VR Titan SLI which also comes equipped with 2 GeForce GTX 1080 video cards sits at a price tag of about USD 6,000 or PHP 299,995 during its initial release although it only bear a 6th Generation Intel Procesor, half the Predator 21 X’s memory and an 18.4″ FHD IPS screen.
The Acer Predator 21 X is set to hit the markets this coming February 2017.
