New Marvel vs. Capcom title called MVC: Infinite to hit PS4, to feature Captain Marvel, 2v2 battles and more
The all new Marvel vs. Capcom is bringing not just new heroes but also new mechanics to its newest iteration.
The much talked about sequel to the Marvel vs. Capcom fighting game franchise, first called Marvel vs. Capcom: 4 is officially unveiled in the PlayStation Experience 2016 today and will be called Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
Bringing in new characters such as Captain Marvel, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will also feature new mechanics such as 2-on-2 battles, a cinematic story mode and even the inclusion of the Infinity Stones concept which help augment character abilities. The game will run on Unreal Engine 4 and Marvel Entertainment’s executive producer Mike Jones states that they have been working together with CAPCOM in order to “create a game that honors the heritage of the series and combines Marvel’s unique brand of storytelling with Capcom’s world-class gameplay“.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC sometime this 2017.
