War between 3 alien races sound familiar to you?

War between 3 alien races, humanity’s last stand in space, real time strategy title for the PC, all of this make up Art of War: Red Tides, the upcoming title from Shenzhen based studio Game Science. Having been greenlit on Steam late last November, Game Science has already opened up Beta Invites to hopeful testers who may want to try the game before it fully comes out, hopefully sometime next year.

The game brings in some colorful design, with references to Eastern culture, as it describes itself to be “ different from traditional west space opera“. Units designed after Elephants, Pandas, Dragons and even the staff wielding Monkey King will battle it out against Turrets, Tanks and Aerial assault vehicles as you send wave after wave of them into battle.

Art of War: Red Tides is set to support cross-platform play for online encounters, with some of the unique gameplay features being the Commander Skill which presumably grants specific units abilities such as a high-powered, concentrated beam that easily decimates units in a line.

While it does look really familiar to a Western-made RTS hit, Art of War: Red Tides promises to not require much resource to run as the hardware requirements only list a Duo-Core CPU, at least 2GB of RAM and a GPU equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce GT220.

Art of War: Red Tides is slated for the Windows PC, Mac and Linux platforms, you can sign up for the upcoming Beta Test later this Dec 2016 simply by leaving a comment at the game’s Steam Page or by filling up the CBT Invite Form.
