China is getting a region-exclusive Gold PS4 version
Silver and Red bundles to be also made available.
Sony hopes to make it big in the Chinese market as they introduce 3 China-only exclusive iterations of the PlayStation 4 console, with 2 of them releasing today and the last one be made available at the end of this year.
The first 2 variants will be the Gold and Silver versions, whereas the third one is a Red version, presumably a New Year version given the box’s festive look and the release date which is one day away from the global New Year’s Day.
All of the console bundles will come with 4 game titles, 3 months worth of PlayStation Plus subscription and an extra Dual Shock 4 controller. All of the bundles will be priced at CNY 2,299 (~USD 330). These new bundles would look to be the first Country-exclusive in China for Sony following the 15 year ban on Consoles in the country due reasons concerning the mental health of children. China officially lifted the ban on consoles last 2015 with the PS4 hitting the Chinese market on March of the same year.
