War, war never…wait, wrong tagline.

The latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise, Infinite Warfare, will be free to play on the PlayStation 4 from Dec 15 up until Dec 20, with all 3 modes available, albeit each with its own limitations. Announced via the PlayStation Blog, Infinite Warfare’s Single Player, Multiplayer and Zombie modes will be made available during the free play period with access limiters for each mode being:

  • Single Player – First 2 levels of the game’s campaign, Rising Threat and Black Sky
  • Multiplayer- Level cap of 15
  • Zombie Mode – Level Cap of 3

To participate, players will only need to search for the Free Trial on the PS Store using the search term “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Free Trial” and access its store page to download and play the game. Take note however, that while there are limitations set during the free play, you will still need around 60 GB of available storage space in order to get the whole experience.

Infinite Warfare is the 13th installment to the Call of Duty franchise and was released together with the remastered version of Modern Warfare which was originally released back in 2007. The game takes you to outer space featuring zero-gravity combat, extraterrestrial locations, and an overhaul to the different character class and loadout choices for multiplayer.
