Playpark re-launches Special Force in the Philippines, CBT to start this Nov 24, 2016
The online FPS hit makes a daring comeback.
Special Force Online, the hit MMO FPS created by South Korean developer Dragonfly returns to the Philippines years after its cessation back in 2013. Formerly published in the Philippines by Gameclub, which was then known as My Game, before Dragonfly took over, Special Force Online will now be under Playpark, the game publishing company behind other popular MMOs such as Perfect World, Cabal Online and Special Force’s sequel title, Special Force Online 2.
Together with the game’s return, Playpark also unveiled their plans regarding the competitive or Esports side of Special Force Online, with a series of tournaments already being slated for 2017, and with Filipino Special Force Online pros to earn the chance to be part of the Special Force World Championships.
While it may still take a while before the Special Force’s Philippine servers officially go live, a Closed Beta Phase will soon be hosted by Playpark this coming November 24, 2016, with the CBT registration to possibly be announced in the coming days.
Special Force Online is originally developed by South Korean company Dragonfly BF Co. Ltd, and was originally launched here in the Philippines back in 2008.
