Y’all remember Dead Island right?

The Zombie survival title Dead Island originally developed by Techland is bound to receive a mobile game adaptation according to Deep Silver’s, the game’s publisher, parent company Koch Media.

According to Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz Deep Silver is now “working on a mobile game under the IP (Dead Island)” and it’s just one of the “two things that are happening on the IP”,one being the sequel, Dead Island 2, and that the Dead Island Franchise has their full attention.

While Dead Island may have been Techland’s most successful game title to date, selling over 5 Million copies since its release, the game has faced much controversy and mixed reception during its release as numerous bugs plagued its early days and as well as the gender related issue regarding one of its in-game perks.

Dead Island is originally developed for the PC, Mac, Linux PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms with a remastered port for the PS4 and Xbox One released last May 2016.
