MSI announces Sudden Death Esports Tournament for amateur Filipino teams, finals to be held in ESGS 2016

The celebration of Filipino video game culture will not be complete without a bit of Esports action and that’s what MSI plans to bring in their Sudden Death Tournament which will feature 3 major gaming titles and its finals to be held in the upcoming Esports and Gaming Summit 2016.

Inviting amateur Filipino esports teams for Dota 2, League of Legends and Counter Strike Global Offensive, the MSI Sudden Death Tournament will feature PHP 72,000 in prize pool, with its registration limited to only 16 teams per game title. The event will be divided into 2 phases, and Online Qualifier phase, and the LAN finals, with the Online Qualifiers to kick off starting this Oct 16 for League of Legends, Oct 22 for Dota 2 and Oct 23 for Counter Strike Global Offensive.

Registration is first come, first serve and will only cater to 16 teams per title so be sure to head on to the registration links listed in the tournament’s official announcement to reserve your slots.
