Why build VR ready PCs when you can just buy one amirite?

Burgeoning VR giant HTC, who is the closest to compete with Oculus with their Vive VR gear, has revealed a partnership with computer solutions manufacturer Hewlett Packard for a VR-ready PC and Vive headgear bundle, the Envy 750.

Equipped with an Intel Core i5 6400 processor and a Radeon RX 480 GPU, HP’s Envy 750 meets the minimum required specifications of HTC’s Vive VR and bears a price tag of USD 1,499, including the Vive itself. However, the package will only include the system unit and as well as the Vive VR headgear package plus controllers, meaning that you’d still have to hunt for a monitor and as well as HDMI cables to fully complete your VR setup.

The HTC Envy 750 Vive package is expected to release sometime late this year or early Q1 of 2017.
