But of course you need to be in China to use it.

China is known to be a home to copy-cat if not original products that share the same concept or tech with other previously released products, and Tencent’s newly revealed TGP Box might just be one of it, the latter to be more specific.

Said to share the same concept as Valve’s Steam Machines, the TGP, or Tencent Games Platform, Box is a console that is used to access and play games that are either developed or published by Tencent in China, one of which is Riot Games’ highly popular League of Legends.

A further inspection reveals that Tencent’s video game entertainment system comes with an Intel Core i5 Processor and runs on Windows 10, with input ports including 6 USB bays, 2 of which are presumably USB 3.0, Audio Jacks, a LAN port, and display ports for HDMI output. Aside from League of Legends the TGP will also be able to run other games published in China under the Tencent brand like FIFA Online ,Call of Duty Online, Smite, Monster Hunter Online and CrossFire.

The TGP Box comes with a hefty price of USD 549 and can also be used as a standard Windows PC albeit it is only available within China’s borders.
