Release the Kraken Pro V2!

While the Razer Kraken Pro just celebrated its 4th birthday after its first release sometime back in August 2012, a (slightly) bigger, more improved Kraken Pro V2 hits the market just recently, as Razer describes it as a product that is born after years of validation and feedback from gamers and esports athletes.

Bigger is one of the few ways of the Kraken Pro V2 as it now sports 50 mm drivers, in contrast to Kraken Pro’s 40 mm, that are custom tuned to balance in-game audio and communications by providing better sound isolation. Aside from its new drivers, the Kraken Pro V2 is also said to be more durable than its predecessors due to its new aluminum body, and is designed to give less stress to spectacle frames for eyeglass wearing gamers, thanks to its new cushion molds.

The Kraken Pro V2 will also come with a 7.1 Surround version and both products are now available for pre-order at the Razer store with a price tag of USD 79.99 for the Kraken Pro V2, and USD 99.99 for the Kraken Pro 7.1 V2.
