Check out the leaked specifications for the alleged GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Looks like we’ll be having more options for NVIDIA’s 10-series cards.
NVIDIA’s current flaghship GPU, the GeForce GTX 1080 might just have another iteration as OC3D forum member Excalibur50 reveals what seems to be the alleged specifications of a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti model. However, many are already speculating the validity of the leak as the GTX 1080 Ti uses a GDDR5 memory type instead of a GDDR5X which is used by the GTX Titan X, the card that is closely compared to the alleged 1080 Ti, and the GTX 1080.
According to the leak, the GTX 1080 Ti’s clock speeds are relatively higher than the Titan X, both in base and boosted speeds, contains a substantial increase in CUDA Core count when compared to other 10-series models. The alleged GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will still use the current Pascal Architecture present in the current generation of NVIDIA GPUs and is said to be officially announced in the first quarter of 2017.
