Check out the current list of Exhibitors for ESGS 2016
Are you ready for ESGS?
The Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit, abbreviated to ESGS, is the annual Philippine gathering of both local and international video game developers and publishers, as they celebrate the country’s video game industry together with Hardware and Peripheral manufacturers, IT brands, and as well as the numerous enthusiasts and communities.
Now on its 3rd year after the successful launch back in 2014, ESGS has been likened to other international video game conventions such as PAX and the Tokyo Game Show, albeit almost all of the focus is on crowd experience and video game showcases. Apart from the video game features, Electronic Sports, a rising industry in the Philippines whose popularity was able to invite major competitive tournament organizers such as ESL and Valve to hold their prestige tournaments here in the country, also takes a share of the spotlight as competitive events featuring different game titles and genres are also held within ESGS.
This year, the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit aims to bring in more brands, locally and internationally, to co-mingle and experience with the country’s video game industry which revenues, according to Newzoo, reported to have reached USD 258 Million back in June 2016 and placing it at the 34th spot for the Top 100 countries by video game revenues.
Staying true to its nature, the majority of Exhibitors for this year’s E-sports and Gaming Summit feature the local video game industry with both established and independent developers and publishers. Also, in addition to Ubisoft which first attended ESGS back in 2015, Bandai Namco Entertainment will also be part of this year’s convention as one of its international exhibitors.
