Mafia III’s post-release content will bring you from the streets of New Bordeaux to the jungles of Vietnam.

The latest installment to the Mafia series, Mafia III is soon to be out in the market, and just like any decent video game in the current era, it will not be without its share of post-release content, which will be composed of both free stuff and paid DLC.

While it is the third installment in the Mafia Series, Mafia III will be the first video game title to be developed by 2K’s new studio, Hangar 13, which was formed back in 2014 in Novato, California. The game’s plot revolves around the former orphan, turned mafioso then turned war veteran, Lincoln Clay, in a story of heist, deception and revenge typical to the series.

Slated to come out this October 7, 2016, 2K lists 7 post-release content releases, with 4 of them being free add-ons focused on cosmetics and additional in-game experience and the rest full-on DLCs that add new story elements.

Free Stuff

All of Mafia III’s free post-release content is centered around in-game cosmetics with new Character Outfits for the protagonist Lincoln as well as additional Vehicle Customization options. Apart from cosmetics, add-ons that supplement the in-game experience will also be made available such as a new Weapon Pack, and as well as Street Races.

Downloadable Story Content

Just like its predecessor Mafia II, Mafia III will be getting 3 new story DLCs that expand up to the jungles of Vietnam, and will also bring in exclusive vehicles, weapons and other customization options depending on the DLC. Mafia III’s Paid DLC list include:

  • Faster Baby!
    • Set in the outskirts of New Bordeaux where you go up against a corrupt police official together with your ex named Roxy Laveau.
  • Sign of the Times
    • Pits you against a drug-driven cult within the heart of the city.
  • Stones Unturned
    • The Vietnam themed DLC where you partner with a CIA agent John Donovan to investigate a conflict that started deep within Vietnamese jungles.

All of the paid DLC will automatically come with the Mafia III Season Pass, although they can still be purchased individually once released. Mafia III will be available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
