Looks like AOC’s new gaming line finally hits the market.

Back in May, computer hardware manufacturer which specializes in Display Monitors, AOC, has announced that they will be venturing into gaming oriented products with the official brand to be labeled as Agon. Together with the announcement, AOC also reveals the flagship product for the Agon which is the 27-inch, 144 hz refresh rate UHD display monitor AG271Q.

Now, roughly 3 months after, the AOC Agon AG271Q surfaced on online retailers, Amazon and Newegg, and both lists the product with a price tag of USD 500*, USD 100 less from the initial SRP of USD 600. The AG271QX’s strengths rely on its high refresh rate and and response time for a monitor whose maximum resolution sits at 2560 x 1440, albeit what is considered as its main downside would be its use of the Twisted Nematic technology instead of In Plane Switching, as the latter is more commonly used for gaming-oriented display panels.
