There is a trademark application for Fallout New Orleans in the EUIPO
Looks like Christmas came in early this year.
A not so quick dig at the European Union Intellectual Property Office unearthed a trademark application for the title “Fallout New Orleans” which highly suggest that a new addition to the Fallout series may already be planned for development by Bethesda Games.
Filed under Nice Classification, 9, 16, 25 and 41, the IP registration denotes products that feature Video games software, Artwork, and even merchandise and is currently under examination, and, as it is undergoing Fast Track application, may mean that Bethesda, and whoever is with them regarding the application procedure is looking to speed up the process.
If fully approved, then Fallout New Orleans may possibly be the 5th main series game in the Fallout franchise and will also possibly follow the tune of Fallout New Vegas. The Fallout series has become one of Bethesda’s trademark titles since 1997 with the latest installment to the main series being the wildly successful Fallout 4 which received a majority of highly positive reviews, and selling 12 million copies on all of its platforms during its day one release.
