Quantum Break is finally heading to Steam
Remedy Entertainment’s time bending action title is finally heading to the #PCMasterRace’s beloved digital platform.
After months of being locked within the walls of the Windows Store, Remedy’s Quantum Break is finally slated for a Steam release later this year together with a Collector’s Edition retail release.
While it was praised for its graphics and gameplay during its first preview back in E3 2013, Quantum Break’s reviews were divisive among its fans as certain critical concerns such as its integrated mini-serial that requires online connectivity, lack of DirectX 12 support functionality and for being a Windows Store exclusive for the initial part of its PC release.
This year, Quantum Break may finally be receiving the PC love it deserves as the digital Steam release is set for September 14, with a Collector’s Edition to be also released on retail called the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition.
The Timeless Collector’s Edition will include physical discs (which will require Steam activation), a Blu Ray and book version of the game’s Making of feature, and as well as the game’s official soundtrack. Both the Steam version and the upcoming retail Collector’s Edition will be priced at USD 40.
