Mobius Final Fantasy enters its global mobile release today.
The newest Final Fantasy game to hit the global mobile market is finally out after more than a year of staying within Japan’s borders.
The fantasy mobile RPG, Mobius Final Fantasy is finally out for International release today, August 4, 2016, the much anticipated addition to the list of mobile games under the Final Fantasy franchise became a huge hit in Japan with over a million registered users in its first week, and is looking to share the same success worldwide.
Mobius Final Fantasy will follow the tale of Wol as he traverses the lands Palamecia as the “Warrior of Light” that will bring order to the chaotic world. The game features the classic turn-based combat system present from many Final Fantasy games, with the addition of ability bars that can be activated to release different combat abilities that either damage the enemy or grant buffs to playerss.
Square Enix attributes the game’s Japanese success due to its AAA-style graphics, going as far as stating that the game’s high production value easily affected its popularity. Mobius Final Fantasy is now available for Android via Google Play and the iOS via the iTunes App Store.
