Battle Log

Execration started off game 1 with a the classic Mirana core commonly done by Filipino teams on Abed, while doubling up on the disables with Kimo‘s Witch Doctor and RR playing the Sand King, compLexity on the other hand is rooting for a more aggressive push and teamfight lineup with the core Ursa on swindlemelonzz backed by Chessie‘s Nature’s Prophet and the Tiny-Io combination by Limpp and Handsken. While the game was even up until the 8-minute mark, with a couple of exchanges from both sides, Execration managed to stay on top however as a sudden pickoff resulted in Abed scoring a triple kill and dismantling coL‘s Tier 1 at the bottom lane. compLexity hopelessly tried to re-engage about a minute after which resulted in Abed once again scoring multiple kills, this time an Ultra, with RR and Tims picking up on the scraps. Execration just continued to showcase dominance afterwards as coL scrambles their defenses only to get either teamwiped or helplessly watch their towers fall one by one. With Execration‘s lead growing by a large margin and coL not being able to respond as the game enters its late phase, the North American wildcard contender will be forced to call the GG ending the game 40-12 in favor of Execration.

Game 2

Battle Log

Game number 2 featured up a teamfight centered lineup for Execratio, bringing in Nando‘s Puck, RR‘s Tidehunter and Kimo‘s Silencer while compLexity answering the call with swindlemelonzz on the Sand King, Zfreek‘s Clockwerk, Limpp with the Shadow Fiend and the Ember Spirit handled by Chessie, game number 2 will not entirely revolve around these heroes however as Execration reveals their biggest gun, Abed‘s Meepo. A bit of a strong early start for compLexity trying to secure the early game and landing kills for Handsken, Limpp and swindlemelonzz and even going as far as securing an early Blink Dagger for the Sand King.A stalemate up until minute 14, everything seems to go in favor of compLexity although the Meepo problem is yet to be solved as nearly no one was able to put a check on Abed who is free farming the entire map and netting a few kills for himself after a very early Boots of Travel. As he completes his Dragon Lance, the Abed show has officially kicked off for Execration as the presence of Meepo became stronger all over the map with the broadcast team themselves starting to find a very hard time tracking everyone who went down on the Geomancer’s hands. Piling up on their momentum, Execration kept on finding fight after fight utilizing not only their Meepo but Nando‘s Puck, RR‘s Tidehunter and Kimo‘s Silencer as well as their well timed ultimates help set up and secure objectives against a struggling compLexity and with nowhere else to move but forward, Execration secures the Aegis, and then marches into coL‘s base, destroying defense after defense and finally closing the series 2-0 with 35-10 on the Game 2 scoreboard.
